Works well even for non-geniuses (like me)
The ethernet port on my iMac has failed and I didn't want to pay a huge repair bill and take my computer offline for a while. So this Ethernet to USB 3.0 adapter seemed like a good gamble - and it was! Everything was just plug and play and an internet speed test shows that everything is running at a good speed. No installation problems, no drivers, no adjustments to the settings - everything works and is inexpensive. Very glad to have found this!
