I bought this along with 3 other watercolor pencil sets (Color Artsy, Leruna and Corot. The seller mentioned a different brand for some reason). had absolutely the best color rendering in terms of depth and transition to watercolor with water. but they were not that easy to manipulate. The packaging was really VERY bad. Weak cardboard and crayons that were in a VERY VERY fragile piece of plastic and not secured in it so all the crayons were taken out when I received them and I marked the container they should have been put in, this is what the set looked like already used /y! While I'm not claiming it was, the packaging made the crayons friable, soft enough to leave marks where they met, and they obviously bounced around. (HEY FABER CASTELL. Just a little cellophane strip over the crayons to keep them in the container would work. I really LOVE the crayons. I need to go back and find something to put them in! Now I have to buy a separate container cause once these crayons are taken out of the box there is a risk of breaking them all to put them back in. Also, they were advertised for 'kids' and it would be difficult for a child to throw them all back in that bin Watercolor pencils were about the same, but Corot changed a little better to watercolor and a little deeper color.
