I love this bag. Since I don't have a roof rack, I used a door mount. The clips and straps are very durable. I have a Hyundai SanteFe and took my boys on a road trip through New York, New York and Maine. Has driven about 1600 km, no cracks or scratches. I only gave it 4 stars because it's not fully waterproof. Simply place your belongings in these durable, oversized bin liners when you want to keep your belongings dry. I definitely wouldn't stuff it to avoid a possible gap. We've used it for all of our sleeping bag pillows and a medium-hard suitcase. We drove in fairly windy rainy weather and the car didn't move. Definitely recommend, just pack whatever you don't want to get wet. It doesn't get wet in any way, but enough to be an issue if you're sleeping and wearing this. We were lucky not to have rain for the rest of our trip and that was the end of our camping trip.
