The felt is nice and strong enough for watercolors
I bought 2 and they were a Christmas present for my friends kids. They were wrapped, but my house was robbed and they took all their presents. I will say that I am an artist and I was impressed because I had to get a feel for it before I wrapped it up. It was good watercolor paper.
