Still needs attention but a great tool for working with fiber reactive dyes in small batches

I have a washing machine so this is a special piece of equipment for me. I only use it as a blast bath for dyeing fibers (cotton/rayon/linen). This allows me to paint in my best wet room (tiled tub) rather than the kitchen (paint undrinkable) or laundry room (no sink; front loading). I put it on a counter in the bathroom, use a timer, and rinse in the shower with a handheld sprayer. I haven't used it on acid dyes (silk/wool) but that's because I work with clothing, not yarn. Half a pound of cotton is the 7 liter mark and that makes 1 full size solid muslin sheet or 3 yards of lightweight woven cotton (voile to muslin) or up to two garments (sewn with cotton thread). Use the 7 liter mark, not 10. For reference, pour 4 liters of warm-hot tap water into the vessel. Turn it on with the economy setting. Gradually add salt and make sure it dissolves. Paste and dissolve the dye, then add it to the water. Then add a damp cloth and more water if necessary to reach the 7 liter mark. Set a timer for 15 minutes. Run it twice and then add the soda. If you're shooting extensive shots, you'll likely need a couple of large storage containers, flask wash, and some clearance. This is for small batches, for people who buy paint in 2 ounce containers, but it's great for trial runs or custom work. As for durability: I have almost two years. It still works fine. He always sounds grumpy when he's excited, but that's okay.
