Received my Go Treads yesterday and love the feel and durability. I do a lot of landscape photography here in Australia. I often pull off the road at a safe distance when I see a promising prospect. Unfortunately, I've gotten stuck in soft, wet, muddy ground several times. I needed to increase my chances of self-extraction. I did my research and discounted a number of products such as 4WD boards/tracks as they are known not to work well with street tires. It's too easy to spin the wheels and wear out the lugs because the treads of the road tires don't adhere well to the lugs on the repair boards. Also, I don't have space to keep them. I needed something compact, lightweight, easy to install and store. Go Treads seems like the perfect solution. My first soft ground tests look very promising. The cost including transport to Australia is nothing if it saves me from calling a smuggler. In my opinion, this is a unique and useful product that suits my needs well. By the way, 2 of these Go Trax fit perfectly in one of those insulated shopping bags sold at Aldi and elsewhere.
