I do not recommend doing this, but if it is very impatient, the scooter will not die from this. The brakes are downright redundant, especially in medium or high regenerative mode, which can be configured in the Mi Home app. At high speed, I try to brake smoothly so as not to fly ahead of the scooter. Perhaps this redundancy is designed for wet pavement, but so far I have only ridden in dry weather.
