Review on 🔧 Premium SHIMANO Stainless Steel Brake Cable (1.6x2050-mm) for Universal Fit by Joseph Campos

Bought a used tandem T-900 chain and brakes were terrible. I tried new pads but couldn't lock the wheels. I suspected the cable was stretched when I pulled the brake lever. I bought another universal cable set to keep handy, but none of the cables were long enough. This Shimano cable was a little more expensive than the regular set but it was just the length I needed - 2050mm. The kit I already had on hand included an outer sleeve so I replaced the cable and sleeve and now I have a working rear brake. Still won't lock up, but will slow down fairly quickly with a fully loaded 350# tandem. I am happy with the purchase. This cable is much longer than required for a standard bicycle.
