Excellent colours, high quality materials. The buckles and straps are easy enough for my 8 year old to do it himself, but at the same time they are very strong and hold everything in place to avoid injury. The skate extension mechanism to accommodate my child as it grows is great and easy to use. You'll probably buy a few shoe sizes, so this should last you around a year or two. The wheels roll well and are of good quality. I'm just not sure how long the batteries last on flashing discs. The loop on the back of the skate is ideal for transport. The skates also come in large, reusable individual pouches, but we've redesigned them to protect their wrists and knees, as putting the skates in a bag can alleviate a bit of pain. Now she's walking around the living room. As I write this review she is as happy as a clam.
