My new favorite resin

I love this resin. I've used many different brands over the past two years. Ultimately, for me, it comes down to finding a resin that is affordable and still gives quality results. It's resin! I've used it on a variety of projects from coasters, wall decor, trays to countertops and more. I'm impressed every time. It's easy to use and makes it easy to achieve crispy, shiny and bubble-free products. These products are measured by weight and the bottles tend to be larger than the liquid volume (in response to a reviewer who complained about the liquid level). I weighed both of my bottles and they were accurate (more than what the label says). kg. This resin has an amazingly long working time! Much longer than I'm used to which is great, I don't waste resin and I can create more detailed parts and I don't feel like I'm in a rush to finish before the resin turns to garbage. This resin offers over 30 minutes of working time, I didn't time it but I did put my sweet time into a few pours and this resin was perfect from start to finish. Thinner parts take longer to cure and remain more flexible, I would say over 24 hours to cure enough to be removed from the molds and then about another day to fully cure. But they will harden. Thicker pieces harden in less than 24 hours. All of my pieces have turned into beautiful smooth, even, crisp, shiny pieces and I'm so happy every time. I love that this resin doesn't get hot either! It appears to self-level and it's easy to get clear, bubble-free pieces. It has an odor, a strong odor when mixed, but it disappears after watering. You must also wear personal protective equipment! (NITRILE gloves, organic vapor respirator, eye protection, apron, etc!) If anyone is having trouble with this product, I would suggest reading the resin usage tips and instructions first for best results before you blame the resin. . You need to pour two equal parts, pour the hardener into the resin, mix SLOWLY for 3-5 minutes, pour into a clean cup and continue mixing for a few more minutes. When you start mixing, the resin will become cloudy and streaky. Keep mixing until completely clear and water-like. Now you are ready to pour or add your shades/dyes/pigments/inks/glitter/whatever you want. I've added a few photos but I have many more that I created with this resin. I switched to just using this resin. Very happy with this brand!
