I don't want to ruin anyone's business but I would like to warn you not to have the same problem. I used a filter on my cherry shrimp tank. I had about 40 shrimp. First I washed the pillow and squeezed out the excess as others have recommended. The water quickly became dusty and cloudy even after rinsing. It can be seen in both photos. My shrimp started to float to the surface after about 10 minutes and might have been gasping for air (see picture). Then I realized something was wrong and tried to act quickly to save her. I scooped the living into another bowl. I saw a couple of bodies down below. About 5 saved. The next day they all died. This can work for fish as shrimp are smaller and more delicate. This can also work in large aquariums where you don't notice the dust. Unfortunately this didn't work for me and I hope to warn other RC owners or fish in small tanks. If it wasn't for the dust it would have saved my shrimp.
