Review on RuggedMade 12mm Engine Drain Port Hose for Easy Oil Changing by Richard Muncy

I have this item to drain the oil from my Ariens Platinum 24 snow thrower. The drain plug is on the side just above the left rear wheel. If you don't remove the wheel, it's very difficult to drain the oil without making a mess. I flipped the fan to the opposite side while opening the drain plug to keep it from squirting out. Then I attached this hose. Lower the fan and the oil will have run through the hose into the container. Worked great and no dropouts. The problem is that the hose is relatively stiff and too short to leave it in place forever. what i wanted to do I couldn't find a safe place to mount it clear of the snowblower's wheel or control rods. So I removed the hose and put the original drain plug back in. The hose still eliminated the mess and I will be using it the same way next year. In my opinion it should be longer and more flexible. It's a bit pricey for what it does. But in the end it did what I needed, except being able to stay on forever.
