Don't waste your time with other cheaper tools.
First, let's get to the tools that Tire Rack wants to buy. After several calls and 2 such devices (those are ATEC tools), I bit the bullet and ordered this one. Sure, it's four times the price, but a tool that doesn't work isn't worth a penny. I received it and activated and recorded all TPMS sensors in less than a minute. No sweat, no hassle. I am pleased that it is easy to use with a fairly easy to use interface. Even though I read the instructions, one person could operate this tool without going too deep into the instructions. Well done ATEC.
