Works but falls off dash when driving

It doesn't stick so when I stop suddenly, or drive without holding onto it.it slides off completely. Comes with a little bag of lavender not sure what you are to do with it. Doesn't smell theofub bag but if you open it,it'll be a bunch if little beads. It does come with adhesion things,but I am afraid they'll get stuck on my dash and I don't want that.
