Review on Frame Mounted Mechanical Replacement Sportsman Scrambler by Antonio Parson

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Be prepared to make adjustments.

I bought this fuel pump for my wife's Polaris 500 ATP HO. I had to make adjustments to allow the fuel pump to fit where the old block was. First, the mounting posts were too far apart and I had to drill another hole to attach the mounting posts to the frame. Second, the screw mounting posts include a safety post on the screw. I have a wall with every drill imaginable and yet I didn't have any in my stash and a special drill could have been included in the fuel pump to avoid this. I was unable to remove the mounting screws, but put these posts into an existing and freshly drilled hole. Next I attached and secured the fuel pump with a well placed zip tie. Let's see how long that lasts---but for now my husband's quad is working!
