Arrived broken. Double

This is supplied by Revain so most of the blame for this model falls on their shoulders. The first desktop arrived with the bottom right corner torn off/broken. They offered a replacement. Relax. UPS did not pick up the next day as stated in the email. OK. There was a confusing email thread implying they would reply when a replacement arrives. Relax. Unless they didn't. They say I can print a return label. Unless it's not listed anywhere. The second (replacement) arrived in the same condition as the first. FML. Not bad, but when I'm buying a product that's actually pretty darn easy to make, I expect that at least that product won't arrive broken. Can you at least put a small amount of bubble wrap in the box, if only so I can open it and vent my frustration at the $50 POS? It gets one star as it seems it will hold my computer enough after I fix the second one (I'm not sending it back, I'll just fix it). As other people have pointed out, the (damaged) lip holding the computer should be 1/8 inch higher. An interesting addition I would make would also be a "sidecar" for laptop storage and that should be an option. When writing a document on a computer, most people use at least some notes to work with, and it would be nice if it was close to the computer. Yes, you could get a bigger size, but if you don't twist want your body to type, an offset pad holder allows the computer to sit comfortably right between you and the rolling table. One final thought, if you have a crafty friend with tools, pay him to make a copy of it and he does will not go broke and will probably cost cheaper.

Pros
  • good thing
Cons
