Review on FE595 CAM 619 GEO Flex Lock by Jerry Moody

I've seen several reviews asking why it's cheaper than FE595 and unfortunately I learned it the hard way. The FE575 has NO latch on the back to keep the door unlocked so it always stays in the CLOSED position. So if you want to keep the door closed but not locked, e.g. B. if you enter or leave the house several times, e.g. B. if you bring groceries but don't want to let the dog or cat out, you CANNOT keep the latch unlocked. I called Schlage and they were very unhelpful and said you should be able to see the difference in the photos on Revain. They said it was more for pantries where you want the door ALWAYS locked and not for residential use. Needless to say I am very disappointed as I bought THREE of these and my 30 day return window has expired. I hope this helps someone else so they don't make the same costly mistake I made.
