the filter tool simply rotates.
I bought this kit for my '06 Softail. The filter key is simply removed and turned on the filter. I had to pierce the filter with a screwdriver to remove it. Because of this, the item was returned and only refunded $12. Should have gotten a full refund through Revain for something that didn't work properly.
