Review on Addi Crochet Hook Swing 5 0Mm by Denise Davis

I have a little love-hate relationship with this crochet hook. Let me break it down. Pen: The design of the pen motivated me to try it. I mainly use a knife handle and this is definitely the most comfortable handle for my hand and wrist that I have ever used. It's light and well shaped, although a bit long for me, but I wear kid-sized gloves so this is more of a personal issue. Hook: The metal hook slides well through all types of yarn I've used it with. although I prefer the "glide" feel of my Clover Soft and Tulip Etimo. The hook has a slight taper but is not strong which I like. I had no problems gripping. A HUGE annoyance is the short hook in front of the handle. This is a PITA if you want to try any type of stitch with multiple loops on your needle or very long stitches. An extra half inch hook would have made such a difference and I would have bought the whole set. Either way, I'll probably buy another pair in my more commonly used sizes just for the comfortable grip.
