Review on Powertec 70175 Dust Collection Hose: Efficient Fittings, Two Reducers & Black Color by Jeff Alradwan
Just what I needed
I have a 6 gallon. Dewalt vacuum cleaner, excellent. But a two inch hose is no good. We bought a house with a kitchen island. There is a cutout that allows access to the gas compartment. left in the cavity. So I ordered this 1 inch hose kit. I first tried to connect this hose to an existing hose but couldn't. However, after disconnecting the 2" hose from the adapter, I used the included adapters to connect the 1" Powertec hose. Strong yet flexible Powertec tubing that allowed me to move the tubing around the cavity dead space and suck in whatever was inside. With the addition of a crevice tool I can reach many more places.
