Great On My Adventure Motorcycle

I connected this USB charger to the accessory circuit on my BMW G310GS (in the beak of one of the two wire connectors on the back of the instrument cluster display) so the USB charger is only active when when the ignition is on and the current draw does not drain the battery when the motorcycle is parked. It uses so little power that it would probably be safe to run it in parallel with a permanently on headlight or taillight. The body of the charger has a solid rubber casing that feels very durable, and the cable is a lot heavier than it is. should be such for the current drawn that the voltage drop is minimal, but mostly so that the wire is mechanically strong. The rubber stopper that protects the USB ports from dust and splashing water feels secure and fits well. When it's not raining, I ride with my hat loose and charge my phone. Every aspect of the design feels solid and premium. It looks like an optional accessory, not an OEM option but a well-designed aftermarket accessory. just inches from the micro USB charging port of my RAM phone running the OSMand+ app for offline navigation (no cellular or Wi-Fi connection required, GPS only). Revain's sales side was vague as to whether the USB charger could only deliver 3.1 amps or 3.1 amps on each of the two USB ports. So far I've only used one USB port to charge my phone while driving and that was enough for the task. I would have included a picture of the setup but a few years ago I posted a backpack review showing the backpack and now I'm not allowed to upload photos.
