Having owned the D2-60GB for four years and still counting, I have decided to consider the D2-160GB as a secondary storage and backup device for add my iMac. Easy to set up - plug in the included power cords and FW400, boot up your iMac and voila! - Instant detection. Split the hard drive into two volumes to separate the OS and audio/video files and started transferring data from iMac to the D2-160GB. There are no problems - the device is very quiet, sometimes muffled clicks are emitted when reading/writing. very unremarkable. And when standing, the disc saves space on the table. All in all a great product that brings great satisfaction and safety.
