The forks slide through. Bad design.
The forks must be inserted up into the tongs or they will slip and stop the wash. The handle is not practical. You have to keep trying to keep the handle up when you put the dishes down. Once the handle falls down and you put the dishes in, the tray falls down when you lift it and everything falls out. Made from cheap and lightweight plastic compared to regular trays. I strongly advise against buying it.
