I finally found a dish rack that can hold dishes with the handles up. Now the teeth and blades will not get stuck in the drain holes and will need to be removed one at a time. This allows me to easily grab multiple dish handles and put them away with one hand, and reduces the irritation factor of emptying the dishwasher to an all-time low!

This looked like the answer to my problem. Our cutlery basket broke at the bottom of one of the sections, allowing cutlery to slide inside. The universal replacement was well made and looked like it would last for years, but it just didn't fit our old Kenmore. Instead I just fixed it. Hope others have better luck.

I have a cutlery basket in the dishwasher door and, despite the outrageously expensive dishwasher, not a single avocado or egg goes off the cutlery. I took this basket apart and used the thinner version in the middle of my bottom shelf and it cleans the cutlery no matter how baked dried foods are stuck to it.

Fantastic when you have a large item and need to arrange around it. Just pick it up and take it to the counter. After all, I love my dishwasher just as much as the old one. You can literally put it anywhere.

Written as universal but not perfect. Although the quality of the plastic is good, the design is not well thought out. The handle is too big and never lifts, taking up too much space in the dishwasher. When you take it off to put the cutlery away, you also need to hold it with both hands, otherwise it will roll over and drop the cutlery. But it still gets the job done at a fraction of the price of the original brand.

The forks must be inserted up into the tongs or they will slip and stop the wash. The handle is not practical. You have to keep trying to keep the handle up when you put the dishes down. Once the handle falls down and you put the dishes in, the tray falls down when you lift it and everything falls out. Made from cheap and lightweight plastic compared to regular trays. I strongly advise against buying it.

My cutlery gets used more than other kitchen items and the cutlery drawer in my dishwasher usually fills up before the rest of the dishwasher. The cutlery was often not as clean as expected due to overstocking. This extra cutlery compartment is great as it can be divided and used on the larger or smaller side depending on your needs.
