This skirt was actually my second choice because the skirt I originally wanted was no longer available in purple. I used it for my Esmeralda costume and got so many compliments on the costume and the skirt itself. The skirt felt sexy but still good enough for work. The skirt has hidden slits but the inside is lined with adequate protection. I was worried it would be too tight but I was quite comfortable wearing it to the office all day and then going out for a walk or out to dinner with my son in the evening. I'm 5'1" and about 108 pounds. I will definitely wear this skirt again for other costumes and I will definitely buy it again in other colors for other costume ideas.
