I've often wondered how loud some of the devices I use are. I've never had a decibel sound level meter before, but this one has the basic features I need. Fast or slow response time measurement, data hold/max. etc. are available and described in the instructions. This small meter comes in a zip case with 2 AAA batteries. A tiny Phillips screwdriver is included to remove the battery cover, nice to have. Instructions are detailed and the meter can be set to record and hold the maximum sound level encountered, or display a continuous transient sound level between 30dB and 130dB. The accuracy of the instrument is said to be within ±2.0 dB. Very helpful. Now I can test the noise intensity of the things I've been wondering about. This is perfect for my purposes. I recommend this Tadeto brand decibel meter, Tadeto digital sound level meter, portable sound level meter, 30-130 dB MAX, data storage with A/C backlit LCD, weighted for home factories. It's pretty amazing how well it works at this value. My knowledge of loudness can now be measured with this device. I hope you found the information and my review helpful.
