This kit is magic!: Paint and Primer

For years I've wanted to either paint or replace my fireplace wall but I was afraid to make it worse because I was hearing nightmare stories from friends and family about how how difficult was and how impossible it is to cover the stones properly. Then I stumbled across this kit and after receiving so many 5 star reviews I finally had the courage to do it. The transformation is incredible, the wall literally looks like new. It took me about 10 hours to prep and paint the whole thing because I took my time and really took the time to go into every corner, under and over every stone to make sure it was the best it could be looks. Saturday evening at 5pm and Sunday afternoon at 5pm. If I just painted it normally it would probably take half the time and still look great. He somehow gave my stone a gray tint even though the stones were originally beige! I think it really depends on what type of stone or brick it is, so it might be unusual. It was exactly what we wanted. I used 2 parts to 1 part distilled water and just one coat and just wiped away the extra drips/paint from touching up the corners so there was no second coat. The tiny 16 ounces was perfect for a nearly 100 square foot wall. I bought a second jar and don't need it! It's thick, so it dilutes a lot more paint. Many thanks to whoever created this kit. That was the best $40 I've spent in a long time! Love it!
