Edgar is almost 2 years old and weighs 72 pounds and Halti has solved our walking problems. No more pulling and pulling! No he didn't like the device at first but now he connects it to good things and works damn well when I put it on him. He always walked "decently" with me alone, but when I took another dog with me, everything was impossible. Edgar was like a fly on her. Well, it wasn't fun. For me or for my other dog! He pulled, jumped, played, bit her neck and so on the whole walk. Now he's walking well and minding his own business. WITHOUT traction! We tried the Easy Walk harness which works great in theory and I will still use it from time to time but the design of the harness doesn't really prevent or inhibit my particularly young, strong (and playful) dog from jerking or jumping. I first tried a similar collar (Gentle Leader) but found the halter fitted his head and muzzle better. The halti strap on the nose is wider and softer. And despite the fact that he weighed 72 pounds, the Big Halty's size was too big. AVERAGE just right. The harness, which extends from Halti to his regular collar (Go Chiefs!), is a nice feature that brings peace of mind. Overall this product is great!
