Great idea but a few flaws.1. The plastic nuts come off with very little effort. I had to cut the riser off the gray bar to hold the bar. The centipede would be useless without this support.2. I have a 4x4 foot centipede that needs 9 risers. Six risers means one or both worktops are undersupported depending on positioning. I was going to order 6 more until I had to destroy one to take it off.3. They are difficult to put on and take off. I'm a woman with small hands and I got frustrated trying to put the bottom nut on and off. I have to use one instead of the stripped one. This is the part that would benefit from some changes. I'm tall and want my countertop to rise 6 inches, but I don't want to risk nuts or gray supports anymore. In terms of tightness, I didn't tighten them because I was concerned about stripping the plastic threads. you stagger. and you need something on it, like a table top, to be strong. They're not worth the money yet. I have hope.
