Review on INNO RT201 Truck Bed Bike Rack: Ultimate Bike Mount Solution for Standard Pickup Trucks by Prettyboy Capers

Great concept but needs some changes. Bought for a '03 Toyota Tacoma with plastic upholstery. Due to the style of the bed liner, I had to remove it to install the C-clamps. The hinged bottom of the C clamp proved problematic and did not allow the clamps to be tightened to the truck until I removed the liner. The second issue was related to the length of the support arm that the bike is attached to. The arms were barely long enough. It would be much better if the arms were 1 inch longer to allow more clearance between the bike and the wheel arch. This was very important as my bike has disc brakes on the non-drive side (non-crank side) which makes it impossible to attach the bike to the support arms on that side (disc brake side of the bike). phew! This allowed the bike to be tied to the arms only with the crank very close to the wheel arch. Another inch or so. on the armrests would easily solve this problem. Finally, my bike has very thin seatstays, so the seatstays need to be heavily padded to ensure a secure fit on the support arms. As I said, I like the concept, but the manufacturer could make the product much better with some simple modifications.
