The outer shell is too weak.
Not very well. At 15 feet the outer casing is not rigid enough to prevent bending rendering the inner wire unusable. Maybe work on shorter lengths. like under five feet with no sharp turns. If you want control at 15 feet, buy a cable with a very hard outer shell, not this one.
