Review on K1419 Evolution Drilled Slotted Ceramic by Aaron Vang

Here's the good and the bad. Good is outrageously good.

So here are the good and bad sides of these brakes. First the bad. These brakes offer exceptional stopping power, but because they are high-performance pads, they require a short warm-up period. In other words, be more careful with your brakes for at least 3-4 blocks during your first morning drive. After that time you can go completely insane. Now for the good. This combination of brakes with rotors offers absolutely exceptional braking performance. Ceramic pads provide exceptional stopping power without leaving dust on the magnesium wheels. I've had this kit for three months now and have covered several thousand kilometers on the brakes. I am fully satisfied with both the quality and the consumables included in the kit. I would like to make a suggestion for those making their own brakes to invest in Permatex 24125 Ceramic Extreme Brake Parts Lubricant. Used grease on all metal and rubber parts when changing brakes. After installing new brakes, I realized I needed to replace the wheel bearing and hub assembly. After using lube on the bolts, changing the hub assembly became very easy as all the bolts on the brake mount came loose very easily.
