I have had a 55 gallon freshwater public aquarium for many years and have always struggled with green algae on glass, artificial plants and gravel. I cleaned, changed the water weekly, turned the lights off most of the day and had 3 good filters but always struggled with a stubborn green film. Finally tried these tetra algae tablets (put 4 directly into the aquarium). Wow! Not only did all the algae disappear, but the water became crystal clear. I have never had such clean water in 15 years. The denser growth on my decorative stone has also died and fallen off. After 3 weeks the water is still perfect, no algae growth. It's great and makes me look like I'm working hard to keep a nice aquarium. I will definitely repeat this treatment if needed!
