I have started programming on the BBC model B. I've built things, written in EEPROMS, built a database on it, written my first commercial software on it (I sold it to a garage but I get paid very well considering my age at the time (14)). Ok, enough selfishness! BBC B was wonderful, very well thought out, no cuts, unlimited possibilities. And it's built with the same mindset. Very thorough base, many possibilities, and while it can get very complex, it can also be kept very simple. With motion sensor, vibration sensor, angle change sensor, light and dark, etc., it can do a lot from playing games to tracking exercises. Great learning tool for absolute beginners to . as far as you can go!
