Review on Cuisinart Chef's Classic Stainless Cookware Set, 11 🍳 Piece, Copper - Premium Quality Kitchenware for the Modern Chef by Heather Rheault

Graduation is on!

I've had these for a few months now and they've been my "affordable" alternative to my real brass dream set. At the moment I was more concerned with looks, so the fact that it's not 'real' copper in terms of cooking/heating performance wasn't an issue for me. The reviews for this set seemed decent enough to take the risk of trying them out. The fact that it's a more well-known brand helped me reinforce that opinion. Also, you can't go wrong with stainless steel. So it was just a question of whether the copper-pink coating on the outside of the pots would be damaged and easily rubbed off by heat, cleaning, rinsing, hard water, etc. They CLAIM that they can be washed in the dishwasher. So in the end it was necessary to justify this expectation! So far so good and I have nothing bad to say. I use something from the set daily so they are regularly washed in the dishwasher and they are fine. Sometimes my hard water leaves dried water stains on the surface, but these are easily wiped off with a dry towel. However, I must say I immediately turned around and resold two pans on the FB marketplace, brand new. and unused. I don't need stainless steel pans, I think they're more trouble than they're worth compared to a good non-stick coating or well-aged cast iron. If you want a good nonstick coating that doesn't emit gaseous chemicals like Teflon, get an Ozeri Stone Earth pan.
