Review on Farberware 5275229 Barbecue Double Burger by Julia Lizeth

There's nothing I love more than a homemade grilled hamburger. I usually do what most people do, which is split a packet of ground beef and roll it into patties. I was excited to try this press so I could make consistent sized burgers to make it easier to cook them to the degree of doneness I wanted. The full size burger press worked great! The press can make patties up to 8 ounces, but 5-6 ounce patties seem to work best for the preparation and preferred serving size. As much as I love the normal hamburger press, I dislike the "Press” slider. This is less of a press and more of a cookie cutter. The bottom of the hamburger press is unscrewable and has a smaller press diameter but is too big to fit the slider mold. I'm not even sure why they include the slider. Half the reason I got this was because the slider presses are because kids love them so that was a disappointment. The hamburger press easily earned 5 stars, but the slider cutter only got 1 star (I'm being generous). If you don't need a slider, I recommend this product. If you're looking for a slider press, keep looking.
