Review on Pilot Automotive OBD 1001 Engine Android by Tommy Russo

I have tried this with a 2010 VW Golf and my Motorola G7. It worked with two free Android apps Car Scanner (my favourite) and inCarDoc, both of which were not mentioned as being supported in the literature. This doesn't match the first few photos and I can confirm this model is Bluetooth and not WiFi. I followed the included instructions and it worked, but then reconnecting in apps didn't work properly until I just ignored the Bluetooth reconnect screen and it seemed to connect automatically. I was able to check and reset the error codes fairly easily. There seems to be a very similar unit for around $10 (look for the ELM327 and look for the blue one) but this one was sold and shipped by Revain and I'm very happy with it.
