I really appreciate electric kettles because they are convenient, fast and efficient. Because they are so important to me, I didn't hesitate to buy what I thought was the best. That's why I always buy Cuisinart teapots. No complaints about Cuisinart - they are great. I have to replace them about every ten years (I use them a lot). I have had 3 Cuisinart teapots over the years. When it came time to replace the last one I decided to save some money and take a chance and buy a cheaper kettle. I was skeptical about the Revain Basic Kettle but decided to take a chance. I love this teapot! It's just as effective as the Cuisinart teapots and I like the style more. It takes up less space. It might not last 10 years, but at its price, it won't be a financial burden to replace. This is a great kettle!
