So the quality of the hardware is excellent. Smooth glide and very sturdy. The instructions could be better—pay attention to the pictures! All the measurements on my instructions were perfect so no complaints there. As another reviewer pointed out, the spacers between the wall and the first bar are not big enough. See the pic where the door hardware was hitting the mounting bolt. Frustrating as hell but we removed that washer behind the bolt and that little bit of extra room did the trick. Would prefer that the bar was all in one piece and not having a connector. That messes with alignment and the rollers make a sound on the tiny gap where the bars are connected.You need the floor guides! Swinging doors are not something I could get used to plus they banged each other without the guides. I used epoxy so I didn’t have to screw into my porcelain tile floors.Although the kit comes with stoppers that go on the ends of the bars there isn’t much cushion so the doors slam and will eventually loosen things up. Do yourself a favor and buy a "barn door soft close kit” for each end of each bar. No more slamming — game changer. TBH I think all barn door hardware should include the soft close mechanism. Super easy to install. Hope this helps!
