This is a later review as I have owned this radio 8 months out of 9. Read this and you will understand why I am writing this now. I live in North Dakota and it's pretty cold here. Last winter the temperature dropped to -18 Fahrenheit for a while and the radio, along with the temperature control, froze. fan motor and such. Not good. They turned on again when the temp went up, if I remember correctly, around -10. It was for a few days so I wasn't impressed. I do not recommend this radio if you live in a colder climate. I bought a genuine OEM radio on eBay for my car as I no longer come across it. Also the fan motor failed 2 months after I replaced my old radio. Maybe it's the engine itself, but it just failed again (after 6 months) and I had to replace it again. is it a radio I do not know. But don't risk it. The new radio will be here next week and the new fan motor next week after we have our fingers crossed.
