Review on Advanced Thermal Protection: Aluminized Sleeving, 3/4'' I.D. x 3ft, for Optimum Heat Sheath Performance by Francisco Yim

Bought a 1 inch heat shield to protect the diesel heater exhaust from a fuel line meltdown. The cheap Chinese stuff works fine, but this stuff is way better. The inner fiberglass insulation is covered with a more durable aluminum alloy outer coating. It's very easy to slide down the 1" exhaust pipe and remove the heat from the plastic fuel line. I had an 8" extra and I also covered the fuel lines so I have double protection. I highly recommend spending the extra money on goodies when it comes to safety. Very inconvenient to cut with scissors , and it's not. wear out just as quickly as cheap stuff.
