My Silverado's CD tray is moved back a bit in the dashboard to allow the screw to be tightened without pressing the CD eject button. I had to grind the 3 point grip to a circle and now it fits perfectly.When you tighten the grip the flat plastic pieces inside the CD slot separate and press against the top and bottom to secure the holder. I need the holder to be firm holds my Garmin RV 770 LMT-S 7" GPS Navigator which is larger than the Nuvi. Overall happy with my purchase.
