I was only going to give 4 stars for "easy to remove" but I think that's my problem, not the trays. This is my second attempt at making large square ice cube trays and they are way better than the plastic ones. Just don't fill them to the brim, I leave about 1/4 inch empty and that helped with removal. You are no longer cold.
