Review on SPARC Regulator 0 60CFH UNF 18RH WARRANTY by Adam Stone

There are many 5 star reviews for this product and unfortunately this is not my experience. In hindsight I would buy 2 separate single outlet flow regulators and a high pressure adapter to both fit in 1 tank. I use this for TIG welding stainless steel with backwash. Problems: 1) One of the adjustment knobs was not properly installed on the shaft, which should be obvious to the person who did the assembly and also to the person who did the final assembly. 2) Gas meter valve adjustment is very sensitive provided you are within reasonable range for TIG operation. 3) A regulator reduces tank pressure to 50psi which feeds both needle valves and flow meter - 2 needle valves/flow rate should be independent - ideally if you adjust 1 needle valve the flow rate of the other side doesn't change much - when your pre-flow- start or stop after flow; the flush flow on the back side must also remain constant - with this product there is a lot of ball movement as the flow rate changes on the other side. Pros: Well packaged All parts in stock No gas leaks found, matt treated surfaces look clean and well finished. This block is better (easier to use) than the cheaper bottom Y setup with two needle valves, but not as much as I expected.
