Usually, when there are or have been problems, there is something to tell. Here, there is nothing to even write. For over 10 years it just works and never fails. I don't remember when I bought it. I will give smart for March and September 2022. The mechanics are in order, there are no strange noises. It outlived two Seagates, one Hitachi and one Toshiba. Take boldly. BUT it is the EZEX version. There is also EZRZ - I do not advise taking it (they have a technological flaw).
