I bought these in May 2020 and used the batteries that came with two sets of car keys (master and spare) and one other keys were delivered. for my tractor. I lost my main car key and it didn't work. So I pinged the keys to my backup car, dead silence. So I tried my tractor key, guess what? Be silent. I knew where my spare key was, so I found it, looked for keys, but there was no sound. I checked the remote's batteries, replaced them and still nothing changed except that the red status light came on with both sets of AAA batteries. I replaced the CR2032 battery and it worked. Swapped 2 others and now they work. A set of 6 Energizer CR2032s is around $6 at Revain with free Prime shipping. I had this unit running DEPENDENTLY and all three batteries failed in less than 8 months. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE, charge a dollar or two to use good batteries. GOD! I had no idea the batteries that came with it were so TERRIBLE.
