This key finding system works well at first but not for long. After about a year, the tracking devices stopped working, even when I tried changing the batteries several times. Very soon I will buy a third (different) system. I think you get what you pay for. Although it's relatively cheap, you'll find yourself needing to buy another one in about a year.

The battery compartment is on one side of the transmitter and the flashing LED indicator is on the other side. This makes installation difficult without blocking either the light or the battery door. It matched the Roku remote nicely, using a steel ring and punching a hole through the small fabric label on the bottom of the Roku.

I have to say it's great for anything you can attach to your item with the rings provided; five stars for that. But even if you get stickers for cell phone and TV remotes or something that gets hot during use, not much. Double-sided sticky pads don't last more than a few days; Heat will cause a loss of adhesive quality and they will fall off quickly. Three stars for that. Otherwise good price, good product.

is a must! Almost finished. The main receiver uses AAA batteries. The ONLY thing not included which is good. I never use the batteries that come with the product and I don't get the Duracell or Energizer (and keep the ones that come with them) BUT. when you get this. Buy AAA batteries in advance. This is my second order of this particular key locator. The newer model uses batteries while the older models used a charging system. The new sender calls the new and old recipients by color.
