Based on my experience with high quality microscopes, I was really impressed with this product. It will be the perfect beginner microscope for young and old, it comes with pre-made slides for learning and additional blanks for DIY. I didn't have to use the tutorial but after reading it you will find everything you need to know to get started. The packaging was very protective of the product. The product is strong yet lightweight. The microscope produced crisp, clear images (provided you got it properly focused). Overall, the product exceeded my expectations for the price.
