Pretty easy to screw on - straight and level. Solid feel - good weight. Rather cool white (I want to be off-white, but not quite). Basically neutral white. Its contrast to our white baseboards (which are painted the usual "base and trim" color found on any ACE, Home Depot or Lowes) is quite subtle. Plastic wrapping? Definitely more grey-white, so it doesn't quite go together. Against each other you will definitely notice 3 different options for White. I put it down to the gray rather than white cap which is the opposite of the picture. All in all, it's not flashy - at least not in our transitional environment. And they are mostly hidden behind doors. Until you close them. And you are left alone with your latent obsessive-compulsive disorder. And your old military question, now rooted in the subconscious ideal that everything should be unified. I simply resolve this discrepancy: I don't look at it for too long. crisis averted. Problem solved.
