As a wood turner I use right angle drills to sand my work; However, sanding dust gnaws at the rear bearings, so I typically only use the drill for 6-9 months. I've been through probably 8-10 of these in 10 years. Then I realized that if I could remove the rear bearing, which is only about 1/2 inch in diameter, I could replace it and get another 6-9 months. This little bearing puller was purchased with that in mind. I have just received it. and immediately removed the rear (bad) bearing from one of the drills that was making horrible noises and replaced it with a new bearing. Voila, it works great and sounds like new. As this is the first and only time I have used this puller I was hesitant to give it 5 stars as I didn't have much experience with it but it worked great and was easy to use as I would have given it a little less can be $45 depending on how much I buy and where I can get them for sale. This bearing puller costs about $23 including tax, so money well spent.
